white drama COMME des GARÇONS

Today was the opening of Comme des Garçons "White Drama" and Balenciaga "Christobal private collection » at Les Docks Cité de la Mode et du Design in Paris.

Balenciaga's  collection and works was presented on metal shelves  and drawers which remainded me  Comme des Garçons used of this material in the early 90's for shop furniture display and chairs designed by Rei Kawakubo herself.
Next to Balenciaga, Rei Kawakubo shown her Spring/Summer 2012 "White Drama" collection inside big blown plastic bubbles.
White everywhere…
She had the guts to display her latest collection where most of designers mix with archives for this kind of exibit.
