The "Salone Internazionale del Mobile di Milano" had its first edition in 1961,
with the purpose of promoting Italian furniture.
It became the largest trade show of its kind in the
world, today the "Salone" is one of the most important rendez-vous for all designers, trendsetters and other passionates in creativity.
Beside the big names of design and other big companies promoting their products at the "Salone" it is a wonderful opportunity to discover young designers' work and talent all over the city in what is more commonly called the "Fuori-Salone".
